Mr. Dennis is a native Floridian, born in Panama City. He obtained a Bachelors degree from Florida State University, and his J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Florida State College of Law, where he served on the Law Review. He clerked for the law firm of McFarlain, Wiley, Cassedy and Jones in Tallahassee, where he worked in the professional malpractice defense and commercial law departments.

Mr. Dennis then served as lead staff attorney for the Judges of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit in Northwest Florida. In 2004, Mr. Dennis took the position of Associate General Counsel for the Florida Dental Association in Tallahassee, Florida. His practice spanned the spectrum of commercial matters, from professional regulation, licensing and lobbying, to any and all matters involving organizational maintenance and governance. His experience ranges from health care professional defense on matters of licensure, to regulatory compliance, and employment, and corporate organizational matters. He has extensive experience in Association law and governance for both IRC 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) organizations. Mr. Dennis' return to Panama City is a great benefit to Northwest Florida and commercial and individual clients across the State of Florida.
